Hallo Tony Are you shure that the "fire-coach" of your Blitz was build in war time?I have several informations about german fire-cars. like my informations, Rosenbauer built several fire-cars in post war time ca. 1947-1952 on war-time Opel Blitz 6700 A. Is there no type-plate from Rosenbauer in your car? Normal there must be two plates, opel and Rosenbauer. I know 1 Picture 1943 from a Magirus/Opel "Versuchsfahrzeug" with a cabin for 5 person since 1944 only the normal 3 person opel cabin.
Regards Henning

Hi Sigve
I think the missing Word on the right side is
- Bindestränge ( old german word) means short ropes
Best Regards
