Sigve,
Sounds good. Would like to have a chat and for sure some liquid (I recall that Norwegian devils water where you always forget completely the name of it after drinking to much). About the route: The actually plan is that we, we means a friend of mine and me all with family in two separated motorhome’s with two trailer-queens (Jeeps) behind, goes on shore in Oslo on the 22th of June. Then heading up to the North and during that way I’ll want to meet some collector colleagues. I’ve not already stated this out with the guys over there, but will do that next time. As you know, to meet an collector on the route, could takes longer as it was planned before… We leave Norway on Monday or Tuesday after the meeting. So there will be enough space to take the tour “across” your door. I think that Rolf will gives me the right directions..

I've the plan to visit the meeting in western Norway, "Western Front Meeting" on June 27th to June 29th. But want to do that with an GPW. But why not visit Norway two times a year for a meeting?. Have to figure out that and have ask the Schwimmwagen also what he would think to swim in a Norwegian lake ....

Yeah Rolf,
If we do that, I will end as the lonely & hungry man at the Norwegian sea …..so in that case, I would prefer to get in line with the other guys…..

Rolf, Sounds good. You’re right, the Dutch border is just one hour far from me. And if the headed North they have to pass my town on their way….
Perhaps you should drop them a line on their forums or club sites as well??

Yes, that’s would be great to visit before or after that meeting some nice places in your beautiful country. I am sure that it would be a very nice time over there…. I think it would be wise to take a trailer behind my Jeep and fill it up with some drinkable smuggled goods for the evenings around the camp fire…. If that will gives some trouble at the border, you have to take care to get me in…

Rolf, By the looks of things, we plan to come over with a couple of vehicles from Germany. The only problem we've at the moment is to find out the correct code word for that trip. Perhaps we called them Weserübung Part II for that trip ;-) Joking apart, at the moment we're two Jeeps and one Kübelwagen ready for Norway...

This German license sticker was on my Kubel, can anyone help me work out where this Kubel was registered in 1989? Regards Drew I dont think that it is a German license sticker. It looks more that the sticker comes formerly from Austria, but thats just my opinion..
