I saw that there comes up a lot of questions about instruments etc. That’s was the reason for me to start a new thread about instruments and dashboards. Perhaps some of us would show us and explain their dashboards and instruments too. That’s would give us the chance to define what we might be need to know..
Lets start.....

Roberto,
I've seen a couple of exactly the same speedo's on a place not to far from me. This place is also a good resource for other speedo's.
Send you the details via pm

Hello amelinas, Yes, this is the correct one for the more early stoewer / hanomags/ bmw's. A shame that it is damaged like this. Good luck with the restauration . Roberto Baujahr:1943 Lieferdatum: 22.12.1943 PS: It was told that someone has bought an Speedo like this one on the picture, during the meeting in Valbert last weekend. It was sold a couple of minutes before I had the chance to see/get it…. Holger

The annual meeting in the Harz region of Germany, "Große Harzfahrt" will be held on December 12th to December 14th 2008. The location is near the former East and West German border and the quantity of the vehicles is limited. On Saturday the Military Vehicle Convoy will start and end in St. Andreasberg/Harz. The event route will trace different roads along the formerly German/German border and the main target will be a Ex-Stasi barrack where we will have a traditional German “Military” meal and the strong guys of us will have the possibility for testing their vehicles at the EX-NVA cross trial near by. If anyone wants more information’s please send me an PM Photographs of last year’s event:

I see there is some differences in the belt and sprocket wheels. So I am currios why this is so? Is one of them postwar or what? They seem to be the same length. Rolf Hello , This kettenkrad is the longer version often refered to as hk102 exept that this one isn't an original one but just made longer by the owner. to compensate he has made the toolboxes a bit longer but this is also fantasy. until now there is only one hk102 known with serial number 20! regards, Roberto Thats correct!

@bart Nice pictures! I haven't see you there.... With your leave, I want to show the experts here your picture of Friedhelms Kettenkrad and make sure that is a real picture and not a fake-pic..... Useful for comparison a standard Kettenkrad [ Holger
