Hello Holger
Thanks for the information. Do you know which „Gerätenachweis“ is for the lepkw and Kfz2/2? and where I can buy it?
Cheers Hans Erik

Cees,
I believe that what I get is something like an extract of the D-992 with some detail pictures and descriptions for the 2/2. But on the other hand, I’ve opened a valuable source for almost of any German manuals. It will take some time until that source will be ready for us. But will drop a line here at the forum then when it will opened their service for all of us… I'll take you on Cc.. for that, what ever I will get...

Hallo Holger! Got the D 904 from Nick earlier to-day. Thanks! Very interesting. Have not decided yet what to make out of my car, got no clues as to what it was originally. Will make a 3-door body though. Earlier plan was a 2/40 but driving around with 500 kgs of gas bottles and tools are not very tempting. regards, Einar

Hello Holger, Thanks for sending the material to me , personally I like the 4-door version more also , but I guess we should feel lucky owning such a wonderful lepkw. ;D I was also considering to rebuild mine as a 4-door, but when I found all the surpressing parts for the engine and some time later the original trunk lid from the radio model it wasn't that hard to decide rebuilding it as the radio pkw. regards, Roberto

Hello Roberto,
I am absolutely agree, if I would found interference suppression parts and/or some other indications that it was an radio-car before, then there is no question, it has to be restored to an radio-car again.

Hello Holger and Roberto! I have been told by a very knowledgeable l.gl.Eih.Pkw guy that BMW did not build any radio supressed l.gls at all? My car though was missing so many details that it was impossible to define its type. 4 doors may be more practical but the 3 doors are very cute! Watch my Kuebel 82 just inserted! cheers, Einar PS: Is there a surplus engine around? Have not yet been able to find a BMW, so would like to get a Stoewer or Hanomag engine instead. Seems to be more around of those - and reasonably correct to use one!
