Maybe I can start with the different fabricators. It's confirmed that Hansa-Lloyd (Borgward) in Bremen made, also I know an survivor from Büssing in Braunschweig. There are existing the original data plates.
Has got anybody more infos with evidences like this?
The books are talking about Henschel, Vomag, MAN and so on, but right know never saw anything of this vehicles.
Who knows or has got a dataplate of the bodymakers?

Hello,
I don't know if there is a Borgward/HL Einheitsdiesel left, right know I recieved no answers.
What I have is an original data plate, I will make a foto of it.
Maybe it's possible to get some informations from owners or friends of them. For example there was a Einheits-Diesel at the "Koblenzer Museumsnacht" (Night of the museum WTS Koblenz). But I don't know which type it was.

The Einheitsdiesel in Koblenz is build by Daimler Benz AG, Kevin Wheatcroft bought from me a Hansa Lloyd Goliath Einheitsdiesel.
I have also a other Hansa-Lloyd Goliath Einheitsdiesel at home and a half ( Front) MAN for spare parts, the rear parts is in London today.
Jodok Krumbacher in Oberstdorf Germany has sold his Hansa Lloyd Goliath Einheitsdiesel with Bilstein crane for a couplle of years to a collector in the south of Germany!

There is an E-Diesel from Büssing-NAG in the mid of Germany. It's nearly complete and a good basis for restore.
Another one I know near Stuttgart, but don't know the fabricator. I also heard about an E-Diesel in Wroclaw, Polska.
Does anyone have a list of existing trucks like the motobikers have?

Hello Loica,
I think Hans "Einheitsdiesel" is the right guy for your questions. i dont restore vehicles , I collect Information, Engine No and frameNo from HL/ Borgward vehicles I try to get a List about this vehicles.
So it would be very interessting for me, to get the information from your plate. The infos if the 3 E-Diesels you know are built by Hl/Borgward?
best regards
Henning

There is a restored Einheits-Diesel in a Museum in Germany (Sinsheim?) whose owner lives in Düsseldorf. It's the vehicle from the "Museumsnacht Koblenz" displayed in the WTS of Koblenz, I looked around this lorry. You cannot expect to find "evidence" that all manufacturers made the Einheits-Diesel; you have to trust in history and books. I think it's no good idea only to trust in books, because espacially about the Einheitskfz there are many wrong information in the literature and one author copies it from another. So I'm looking for some hard facts like original cars and so on. As for the Einheits-Diesel in Russia; that vehicle was recently sold out of Norway to Russia by a well known dealer. That Einheits-Diesel is mostly a shell. Even the rims are fake. But thank you for the other infos, the Fotos from Russia are interesting.
