Hi,
I sell my German light motorbike.
Its a “ FAVORIT” production with a 2-takt engine “118cc JLO werke H.Cristiansen Pinnberg bei Hamburg“ With original tag!
Favorit was a little factory who made sidecars for heavy motorcycles (before and during the war).
But they started between 1937 and 1940 a small line of light 2-takt motorcicles.
I heard from some sources that the number of ligt motorcycles, produces will be around the 50.
So its a verry rare toy!
There are 2 others known in the world. But mine is the mosed complete!! with the reverse breakhandles!
Becouse my model is slightly different from the other 2 models, are some collectors thinking of beeing a military version.
(I have a re-enforcement above the headlight, and the pack carrier is made longer).
The motorbike is build in August 1939 (chassisnumber)
It is a verry rare motorbike, and has a military history (It served in Poland, and later in Germany, All by the German army as beutefarhzeug).
It is total restored and painted like it should be!! With all the details.
It only has a litle problem, It starts sometimes a bit difficult, and after 500m it looses power and stops driving. I dont think this is a big problem
The breaks are made by "Torpedo werke"
