Hello Wille,
I found a picture on ebay this evening which shows the same door as I have . On an adler ..... like you say!! I guess they changed the hinges although you should say they were always on this door like this. Maybe the same door was used on other vehicles??
Kind regards, Roberto

Hello Roberto, I think they changed the hinges during the production, and I don't think the door was used on other vehicles. Look at the hinges, the part on the body look like the part on your door? Kind Regards Wille

Hello Wille,
looks promising.... but there is still one difference, the part where the door handle comes is normally made in 2 pieces whereas mine is one stamping. but this could be a later model ??
Kind regards, Roberto

Hello Wille,
the place where the door handle is, is deeper than the rest of the door. this is a stamped part. it is worked in the door and then spot welded. whereas mine is one with the door , this means they pressed the deeper part directly in the same metal as the whole door. hard to explain ??
Kind regards, Roberto

Hello Roberto,
Yes, I understand. I haven't seen pictures with that type of door construction on 3Gd. But MB 320WK have that type on the early model. So I still think it is an early 3Gd, because the measure is the same. Let us wait, there can be some one that recognize the door.
Kind Regards wille
