It is a perfect restoration, really.
I have a question - my father sold his LH43 some 15 years ago, but it had no front brakes - so I thought it is the main difference - that the LH43 has no front brakes and the LH143 has them.. so the late L43 did have them?
Thank you, Frankie

The only pictures of this car I have are the ones from Werner Oswald's 1979 printed "Kraftfahrzeuge und Panzer der Reichswehr, Wehrmacht und Bundeswehr" , page 75. It is the car from your fist photo - I love the 4 color camo.

Hello, I have sold my father's H43 Protze 20 years ago.. it had no front Wheel brakes - I thought that all the H43 types had no front Wheel brakes, that only H143 ones had it... if i understand it well now so the late H43 ones had it?
...it had the old roller rimes, too...
Thank you for your answer

Hello gentlemen, I am quite a new member here - I have seen you are talking about D992 manual on page 5 - please, does anybody has a scan of it? Or an original for sale or trade for another D series manual? Thank you very much, Frankie P.S.- btw - I am also looking for the front drive, rear seat, instruments and the "box" that comes behind the asistent driver... and 2 early wheels

There are 3 pictures in the "Oswald - Kraftfahrzeuge und Panzer" - but I do not have a scanner here I was quite surprised that the engine comes from the S.gl. Einh. PKW. (but has90hp) and the gear cases differ from the normal Horch 901! The technical data come from the same book: . . . . . . . . 901 . . . . . . . . . . Kabriolet engine . . 3517ccm /80hp. . . . 3823ccm/90hp Gear I . . . . . 5,47 . . . . . . . 3,77 II . . . . 3,81 . . . . . . . 2,10 III . . . . 1,56 . . . . . . . 1,36 IV . . . . 1,0 . . . . . . . 1,0 Gelände . . 1,69 . . . . . . . 2,018 Production 1940-1942 Would be nice to know the freshly renovated one really was a kabriolet originally and has those special parts.
