I am going to put in a small article on the Horch 901 Typ 40 in the next English issue of Mud & Snow. I have some good pictures, but would be happy if someone could provide me with pictures of the cabriolet (and the others of course). It beeing war time picture or from today, and detailed pictures also. If I use any picture from you, I can not pay, but you will of course be given credit and I will send you two copies of the magazine. Pictures used can NOT be copyrighted or owned by anyone else than you! Rolf One in Norway. Picture taken at a Western Front Meeting some years back.

I have made an effort to clear the license plate, but it is a small photo, only 5x4 cm. What I did sho you was the full length of the photo, but only partial of the hight. Have scanned the license plate at 4800 dpri (the highest I'v ever done). Made som tricks in photoshop and got the result below... And as far as I can read it is WH 64_77 or WH 84_77 Most likely the last one. And I am not able to see anything btweene the 4 and the 7.... Rolf

Welcome Nick and Hans Erik ! Do hope you will enjoy and use this forum, and feel free to tell everyone else abouth it! Nick, a tip would be to put in a string for what you need in the "Buy" section. I guess more people will notice it then. Well, I just wanted to welcome you ! Chers Rolf adm BTW: Here is a photo from my collection (as I pic from to use in the magazine Mud & Snow). Notice the camo paint so it must have been taken early in the war. Anyone know when they stoped using this camopaint?

Nice!! I like these "civilian" vehicles in service. Think it is time to get me one while the prices on them are not to high. Here is one at Beltring 2007. Rolf

If you want to post pictures and want to hide the persons on them, you can send them to me, and I will put a blank spot on their faces... But I can not imagine anyone can denide beeing taken pictures of at a HMV meeting, or any other sort of gatering. It is a public afere, so they must know they can be portraited. Especially when they are in the background and are not the main subject on the picture. It will of course be a bit different if you take pictures and have somone as the main subject of the picture.

Very nice car! I think it is a Stoewer R200 Spezial Kfz 2 (signals). But since I do not know the difference betweene the Stoewer, BMW and Hanomag, I do hope someone can tell exactly what car it is.
Wish I could be at meetings with such interesting german vehicles....

Holger Can't be to many of them still arround. And I noticed that the radiator surroundings and the bumper up front does not look the same. Could this be because of different modelyear? Did look at some om my Wanderer phtos, and it looks like they all have the bumper as on your photo. So I guess the Norwegian one does not have the right bumper. Well, here is another photo of it together with two bikes. A nice photo if I must say so my self :-)

Nice looking. Does it have any problems like the russian bikes? As far as I have understod, the russian bikes have problems with the oil pump. And what does this one cost you?

I finally got the Triumph out of its hiding while cleaning up a bit in my garage due to work on a jeep... I know, I know, it is not even worth mentioning a jeep here so I am a bit Well here is the Triumph. The colour is wrong, and there is a lot of work to be done on it. Rolf BTW: I am looking for all kind of information on this bike, and also parts.

I have a German built Triumph B200 TWN and would like any information or source for information on this bike. The one I have is the type with the cylinderhead 90 degrees on to the block. And as far as I have understood this is the rarest one of the Triumph B200 (the other type has the cylinderhead on approximately 15 degrees to the to the block). It is a 1937 model year. Have no photos at the time, but will try to take some soon. The bike is partly restored.
