By my main profession in which I work for authorities of the military and the police in different countries, I get sometimes the chance to visit some points of “private” interests. During a birthday celebration of the commander in chief of the armoured forces in Kubinka were I was invited, I had the possibility to take an visit behind the fences and all of the hidden corners and magazines in the Tank Museum Kubinka again. My first visit over there was in 1990 and I visit the museum several times in a year during my travels to Russia. Please make concessions about the quality of the pictures. Its not a problem to drive a tank but it is always a problem to figure out how that modern cameras does work correct….. Enjoy the pictures. In front of the Museum: From left to right: (Director/Military Rank: Colonel, of the Kubinka Tank Museum), (Me), (Commander in Chief of the Armoured Forces in Kubinka/Military Rank: General) This gentleman on my right is one of the most-well- known experts of German Tanks and German military history in Russia. He knows more about German tanks as any other experts I know from the west. He works also as a specialist in Kubinka. Two interesting things on the same place ;-)

During the next couple of weeks I will visit the Museum again. The museum looks for some parts for the Kettenkrad. And if somebody has something like that for sale or swap, please let me know...
