Hi kradman,
this is a "fußbetätigte Schmierstoffpumpe für die Zentralschmierung". English: treadle-operated pump for central lubrication.
It is a standardized part used on various vehicles. Unfortunatelly I've recently no time to check my files for more information.
Best Regards Guenter

Hello!
These are most often seen in casted aluminium. Cant tell you from wich vehicle it belongs - but in my opinion it is a very late version (44-45), because all aluminium was needed to the airplane industri, and therefore they tried to use other materials instead. Very nice one, and I also want to know more about it - never seen this type before...
Kindest regards / Nick...

hello nick, thanks for the imfo, yes so far ive only seen alu as well, i have two of this type one for a steyr 1500, and a second one which fits the steyr but the lube pipe threaded nut has a different thread. the kunstoffe(bakerlight ) origanated from southern germany, i brought it hoping it would fit the steyr 1500 but the hole size is different, its approx 45mm in diameter and wouldnt fit through the bulkhead.ille try and post some more pictures on this site. if i cant ille post them on the steyr forum .if i get a chance tommorow ille take pics of the steyr 1500 and this one together. the measurement between the 3 fixing points is 65mm , fixing bolt size is 6mm .
