Hello all, As you all know I'm restoring a ford v3000s and I will be rebuilding the engine in the next 2 weeks. The question I have is what is the correct colour for a Ford engine produced during WWII? Fords standard colour, at least outside Germany, was dark green. From the photos I see on the net most other restoraters use a semi gloss or full glass black and I'm leaning towards that but any help would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Jason

Thanks Wilhelm, It looks like there might be some tiny bits of green point on the block near the starter motor, does anybody else see that? Kind regards, Jason
