Hello Wilhelm I do not know but have some indications. You can see several insignia. I don`t know what they mean. I hope somebody can help me. You can see both yellow, green and white colour insignia. The big green square indicate that it have been used by the gebirgs division. Hans Erik

Hi This is the first picture I could reconstruct, but it is still missing some details. It is not complete. I need some more help to get the insignia complete. Is there anyone out there who is an expert in this question? This is the insignia for the 2nd Gebirgs Division. Hans Erik

Hi broccoli They all came originally with brakes on all wheels. If it lacked at your father's Krupp, this may have been removed after the war. Hans Erik Hi Erik So I went to the man we sold our L2H43 to, the Protze is 1935 and has no brakes on the front wheels - and never had any. There is no place where the brakes could be missing. I was told that the earliest ones did not have them. I can take a picture tommorow, if you want to. Best regards, Frankie

Hi,
The tactical sign is for a chief motorised medical unit (Hauptverbandplatz), the top two circles are incorrect and should be a horizontal line, thereby making a cross ( + ) above the triangle.
cheers PAUL
