Hello www,
amazing find !! and that it's still there .
The 13b is in a lot of parts different from the 20b , the engine is different , the frame is narrowed.
Think it will not be there long now because its on the net , know there are a few people looking for parts for a 13b !!
Hans.

Hi ,
Good to hear its safe !!
The symbol looks like a key doesn't it ? Only , the well known marking with the key in it ( Josef Dietrich's Leibstandarte XX Infantry Regiment ) has the key the other way arround in the shield .

Hanomag 20B versus 13B
I have some questions..
1. Does 13B use the same wheels as 20B? 2. The 13B engine is a 1300ccm. What other Hanomag did use the same 1300ccm engine? I ask because I want to find out if it is possible to find engine parts.
I also must tell a quite fantastic story, on page 36 in Reinhard Franks book "Personkraftwagen der wehrmacht" you can see the only two known photos of the Hanomag 13B. On the photo it is possible to see the registration number whitch is WH 607047. On my Hanomag 13B I can still see the WH number that has been painted on, and I can clearly see the first letters: WH 607xxx. I find this very amazing and funny.

Hei!

Today I have made a litte recearch about what other car did use the Hanomag 1,3 litres engine, and this car did: This is the Hanomag 1,3 litres car, see link wikipedia: But the big question is...Where can I find an engine... Any ideas? I guess this is the date of making the engine?(see photo below) Badly the engine block has to big hole, and the crankshaft, valves etc etc is missing. I must therefor looke after another engine
