We’ve just finished the restorations on a search light generator (with a BMW Engine in the inside) The condition inside was like really new (God bless the Norwegian Army) And it was just a paint job to do
Hello very nice looking generator, what type of paint have you used on it? and can you also post a photo of the inside? here is some of what I am going to work with this winter. It has a working mercedes engine inside and everything works just needs TLC.
Hello Sigve and thank you, here is a teaser photo for you I will test run it before x-mas then start to restore it. But as you know I do not have a museum like you do. I do have some parts for BMW engined generators for trade in parts I need.
Hallo all of you with searchlight and generator trailer’s. I look for rims to my Henschel 33, it is the same rims that you have on the trailer Sd.Ah104 for the searchlight -. So if someone has one or more I am very interested... Wilhelm
Hello Hans and thank you for your interest,I will post more photos when I find the time to take them. And yes the engine is original and they used a sidevalved 4918ccm engine with 8 cylinders. I have some spareparts woodboxes more or less complete to it will also try to post some photos of this to. regards Raymond
Hello again now we have had a testrun, and found some serious damage to the voltage regulator. It must be redone since it now only works on full power. And I also have a broken fanblower engine and fuse so I need to do some work on this during the winter. Will try to keep it as usable as possible to have as much fun as possible while slowly restoring it. Have as I said some parts for sale or px. Also in need of a photo or details for the 104 trailer (tools, etc) regards Raymond.
