Yes - that is right! (I have posted a pic of an original Stoewer speedo in BUY!)
But i have heard following. When the allied started to bomb out the german factorys, they took what they had in store - A new friend told me that in his -43 stoewer is a MC speedo (120 km) and he is absolute positive it was fitted when the car was manufactured. The lack of material during the last years of the war, forced them to use a variety of parts, and I have seen some good examples of that in other vehicles too, as well as field modifications. Regarding this speedo, it is just my personal theory, and If I am wrong, any response is welcome.
Regards / Nick...

Thats right , wegzahl for stoewer should be 0,8 but you could use it if you change the wegzahl. Probably better than a hole in a dashboard.

Hello amelinas,
Yes, this is the correct one for the more early stoewer / hanomags/ bmw's. A shame that it is damaged like this. Good luck with the restauration .

Roberto Baujahr:1943 Lieferdatum: 22.12.1943 PS: It was told that someone has bought an Speedo like this one on the picture, during the meeting in Valbert last weekend. Hello Holger ,
I haven't seen the speedo either altough I could use it. last year I bought one on the mannheim fair , It looks quit like the original one but is probably from another german vehicle . I will post it here shortly. maybe somebody knows from which vehicle it really is ??
