Hello everbody.
I am new to this type of thing so please excuse my greeness!!
I have always had an interest in German WW2 vehicles since I was young and it is great to find a forum such as this.
I would appreciate some advice from members as to what would be a suitable first vehicle to buy or restore. Any comments, suggestions, experiences, both good and bad fom members would be really appreciated.
Many thanks,
Gerry from Ireland

Hello, Forum. New member here. I just found this forum a cople of hours ago. I generally collect german uniforms and field equipment from ww2, and I'm currently working on a 36 model Opel Olympia pkw. I found this to be a very interesting forum, with lots of nice pictures and info about the different wehicles used by the german forces during the war.
Kind Regards Bjørn

Hello Rolf and everybody else.
Just a short intro. I've been fascinated with military vehicle since I was a boy. Now I have Soviet and Chinese motorbikes and sidecars with military roots. What I really wanted was a Zundapp KS750.

Hi Arvinder and welcome to this forum. Hope you will enjoy it, and share photos and toughts abouth your bikes here. I was very impressed over all those nice bikes you have restored. I am currently trying to restore an Ariel W/NG 350 1942 model, and have found many part dealers from India. So I guess it must be many old and new bikes there Rolf admin

Greetings and Salutations Rolf, Today I finally made the decision to join your 1st rate forum after viewing it as a guest for the last several years. What prompted me to do so? Last year I purchased an American made 1939 Ford 2 ton truck. Please correct me if I'm wrong in Europe it's classified as a 3.5 ton. I bought it from a reenactor/collector who wanted to get out from under it. I had been wanting a vehicle of this nature ever since I was a boy. I had heard it was for sale from a friend of a friend at a local Militaria show. I contacted the fellow and found out it was guy I'd known for over 15 years. He was selling his truck and an original German 2cm Flak. 38. I would have bought but, could'nt afford it for I am of limited means. In the the near future I intend to post photographs of the progress of the restoration of the 39 Ford. And I look forward to exchanging information and ideas with the other Forum members. best regards, Randall B. Buchanan Sugar Hill, Georgia USA
