I have made this forum so we hopefully will have a place to discuss all the interesting tecnical and historical things on the vehicles made and used by the German forces during WW II. There is of course many very interesting forums arround, but I have a feeling there is no forum to help you and me looking for the right part, or searching the information like changes done to the Opel Blitz during production.
Any comments will be appreciated, so will also any suggestions to more subborads.
Hope you will enjoy this forum
Best regards

Hi All,
This forum might be a good idea, was looking on the Axishistory forum once in a while, but not much happening there vehicle wise!
Have various german vehicles, (and a lot of allied!) a 5-ton White Beutefahrzeug truck from 1940, 3 DKW Rt125-1 motorcycles from 1944/45 and with a friend, a Skoda Supurb from 1943, pictures will follow.

Looking forward to see photos of your vehicles!
And interesting you have the White marked as "beute".

Yes, see Beute topic on that truck. I'm not sure what you/we/us want to do with this forum regarding postwar vehicles, lookalikes, replica's etc Maybe there should be a separate section for that sort of vehicles? it is more something for a re-enactor forum Personally I think it should not be mixed in with the "real" stuff. I know, I posted something postwar myself too !!! Alex

Alex
I agree with you that it should not be mixed up whit the WWII stuff. Sometimes it might be necessary to tell the difference or just show something, but as a rule it should not be mixed up.
I will put in a board for post war stuff, and then see how it works out.

Good initiative to create a German vehicle forum, I will look here often. I have one question, is it possible to make a place to show and talk over (original) Truppenfahrräder and horse drawn waggons ? These were also very important vehicles in the German Army.

Welcome Jan
And yes, why not have a board on all the equipment used behind the horse. As you say, it is a important part of the history. I'll make up one board for horsedrawn equipment.
