Final after 4 years of construction. A positive coincidence - produced on 15.10.1934 and on 15.10.2017 first exit after restoration. On the day exactly 83 years later in original factory execution and in original RW colored. Probably the most beautiful caravan of the Wehrmacht and the only specimen worldwide is back on German roads. I completely overlooked this post. Great job! Congratulations. Beautiful. Are you using brown for the upholstery? Any source on that? I have an original wooden rifle (butt) holder for this type of Kfz 12. Let me know if you need measurements.

Hi, thanks. I finally found some old stock East German 6.50x20 Gelände. I only hope now there will be no reaction between the 3 Reich steel and the communist rubber...

goodnight i´m are restoring a henschel 33D1 1934. we would like to know if there are pieces, especially steering wheel, speedometer and other watches on the control box. We like to have a picture of this last, to know what they were and where. for your information the number of engine and chassis 4830 , 3891. the truck is in the Canary Military Museum (TENERIFE, CANARY ISLANDS) SPAIN. I hope news, thanks The Henschel engine number 4830 was a machine sent to the Legion Condor in Spain. Its Legion Condor registration number during the war was LC-54256 and was transferred in 1939 to the Spanish Air Force in Leon (the Park of the LC). The SAF got then 65 Henschel 33D1 and 9 Henschel 33GL, all coming from F/88. This particular truck 4830 was then registered FA-5619. Most those Henschels were later transferred during the early 40s from the SAF to the Army (with the creation of the Air Ministry in 1940 all vehicles received a new EA plates and this one is not among them), the Army was on need of them to tow the 7,5 & 8,8 Flak guns in army AA units. This makes it one of only 3 -to date- known (documented) LC vehicles in existence. The other 2 surviving Henschels 33 in Spain may also be former LC but I don't have their chassis or engine numbers to confirm. I hope this helps. Un saludo desde Bélgica. M.
