Hi Henning I have this original picture. I also have the shovel on the photo and have measured out from this. The shovel is 1,1 meter high, up to the bow 1,2 meter and the top is 1,5 meter Hans Erik

Hi This is the first picture I could reconstruct, but it is still missing some details. It is not complete. I need some more help to get the insignia complete. Is there anyone out there who is an expert in this question? This is the insignia for the 2nd Gebirgs Division. Hans Erik

Hello Wilhelm I do not know but have some indications. You can see several insignia. I don`t know what they mean. I hope somebody can help me. You can see both yellow, green and white colour insignia. The big green square indicate that it have been used by the gebirgs division. Hans Erik

There is a high probability that the Krupp has only been in Kirkenes area and up to the Petsamo in Russia. The German withdrawal through Finland came into Norway much longer south.

Thanks :-)
I have some of the history of the Krupp. In 1947 it was bought at an auction i Kirkenes. During the war it was used by the 2nd or the 3rd Gebirgs Division in the Operation Silver Fox to occupy the Petsamo region. Therefore I will use one of this tactical insignia. But first, The Krupp is going to be a moviestar in a new film in a few months.

Hi broccoli
They all came originally with brakes on all wheels. If it lacked at your father's Krupp, this may have been removed after the war.
