This is a civilian preserved wartime ford truck. 3-tonner i guess, but can anyone help me with the correct name/type? Sigve

Dagfinn, Rolf,
This Blitz is lend-least from the National Defense Museum (FMU) and restored by Rogaland war Museum (RKM). Although the Blitz only have been given a paint Job and a new cargo bed, it's not a worn out wreck. This Opel Blitz have never been on civilian hands and have less than 50k to the clock. :-)
Tried to find out more of its Norwegian army use, but without any luck
DATA: Type: 3,6-36S Bau jahr: 1943 Farhgestell: BR-6w82357
Kontrolle: NR 229

Top are also missing on these vehicles. One man in each car does not indicate training? Could it be that these are being transported to the maker of the top?

Not yet Holger, but my friend who owns the Hanomag ++ will eventually have to find out. Restoring of these vehicles have carefully started. Don't know of anybody else who delivers these bodies and Mr Lehar seems to be well recommended: forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?t=128164Maybe if several persons go together, Mr Lehar can make a good offer?
