I have found the site that the model picture comes from, and it will not be difficult to make very good drawings for such a ammo box. And for sure it will look nice behind a smal truck. And is much cheaper than a searchlight or gun :-)
What I need to get started, is the measue betweene the fastenings at the rear, and also the difference of the hight from the rear fastening claws and the one in front. So if anyone is able to meassure it on a searchlight when situated on the floor tah would be great.
There are plans to make at least two such boxes.

Hello everyone Earlier when I was editing the magazine Mud & Snow I often bought photos from e-bay. And even if I did not buy any, I did have alook almost everyday seaching for photos that I could use as references for my self. Here is the link I used: www.ebay.de/sch/Fotos-Briefe-Postkarten-/157544/i.html?clk_rvr_id=355417677236&_catref=1I guess many of you also is looking there, and perhaps we should share more photos from the auctions? And perhaps if I state I am bidding on one of them, I will not bid against you?? What about it? Should we share our common interest and save money? The photos tend to be expensive from time to time. If we do publish photos from e-bay we must state so, and perhaps give the linkt also. Any ideas on this? At least we can have a chat about different photsos :-) Have a nice day, I am of to collect an 1939 Ariel 500cc ... yeah yeah, I know it is not german.... Rolf

Hi Nice car. Is this the one that was offered on the norwegian finn site? If so, I was in contact with the seller, and wanted it too, but did never hear from him again and he never phoned back after I got pictures from him... Would have bought it "unseen". But glad it still is here in Norway Looking forward to see your progress with the restoration. Rolf

Hi Arvinder and welcome to this forum. Hope you will enjoy it, and share photos and toughts abouth your bikes here. I was very impressed over all those nice bikes you have restored. I am currently trying to restore an Ariel W/NG 350 1942 model, and have found many part dealers from India. So I guess it must be many old and new bikes there Rolf admin
