Hi Nick, I don't have any good pics of the sides of the Ford V3000S but do have one of a battle-scarred Ford G917T. This shows the left side shovel and brackets. I don't know whether this was the same on both Fords. I hope this helps a little. Cheers, Larry

Hi Larry!
Thanks for responding! This is the same bracket as on the V 3000S - so this helps me a lot! Do you have any pics from the brackets for the pickaxe, on the other side? Thanks again / Nick...

Hi Nick Was there a standard configuration for the attachment of the shovel and pickaxe on all German vehicles or did Ford have its own. Here's a more detailed pic for you. Cheers Larry

Hi Nick Was there a standard configuration for the attachment of the shovel and pickaxe on all German vehicles or did Ford have its own. Here's a more detailed pic for you. Cheers Larry Larry - the mounts for the shovel and pick axe on the Ford were very different from the mounts on the other types of trucks such as Opel Blitz - they were quite unique mountings for the Ford. MVNUT I can get you pics of the body work as my Ford has the original wooden body work. I also have a copy of the plans and measurements for rebuilding the wooden body - I got these a few years ago off a guy - a carpenter - who drew them up a when he was restoring a Ford V3000S in case I ever needed them. whats your email address and I will dig them out and send them to you Cj ps I am looking for a front tow hook for a Ford V3000S - driver side (Left hand drive) - can anyone help me? HI there can anyone supply an accurate drawing of the timber deck and attachment placings for the G198t v3000s? thanks MVNUT
