Can you tell me, what model is this MAN truck? Is it an Einheits-Lkw - MAN? I have seen it designated as MAN G-2 in a source, but can't find that G-2 name anywhere else. What would be the correct name for this vehicle? Thanks! Attachments:

Thanks for the link, Henning. The picture is mine, it started circling the internet after I showed it here: www.lostbulgaria.com/?p=1833Yes indeed, in the /one and only/ book about the Bulgarian army vehicles, is mentioned the number of 160 delivered. In Bulgaria these are known as MAN G-2, no mention of Einheits. On the opposite, I can not find an external source, mentioning the designation G-2. Maybe the series made for Bulgaria were given thatname? Trying to find out what is the real model and name of these.

G-2 was the internal designation for Einheitsdiesel at MAN. Bulgaria purchased said 160 trucks directly from MAN, so on the invoice stood MAN G-2, not Einheitsdiesel.
