Copies which get into many hundreds of pages will be much to expensive to reproduce and send through the mail. Cost to copy each page can be .15 - .25 cents for each page. You may not want to spend that kind of money. I would be willing to trade what I have for an Adler Autobahn (Stromform) 2,5 Ltr. Handbuch or manual (vorschriften).

Hello,
I've the operators manual for the L145/150 chassis. It has about 45 pages.
Copies are ONLY available in case of a real restoration project resp. ownership of such a vehicle.

Hallo Guenter;
Thanks for the offer but I guess I will not be taking you up on it. My purpose is to gather sufficent info to do up a set of scale drawings on the Magirus GS 145 and also Henschel 4500S Merkur. I'm about 80% there with what I've already gathered and what the factory archives have kindly sent to me. I'm not trying to be part of any exclusive club but if someone can see their way to assist me then I open up and share what they may be looking for. Thanks.
Kind Regards, Robert

Hello Robert,
there is no exclusive club, but the operations manual is only suitable for someone who owns and restores/maintains a L145/150.
Making copies is a very time time-consuming task. In past I made several times copies of various manuals for scale modelers (usually = "Amateur researcher") and they were very disappointed after they received these copies. And there is another species of "Amateur researcher" who are collecting copies for free or coping costs and soon afterwards you see them selling these copies in a commercial way. Therefore I mentioned this to avoid such occurrences in future.
I will not blame scale modellers, because sometimes I do this too. Therefore I know very well what type of information is helpfull and what is useless.
If someone introduces himself not only as "amateur researcher is seeking ..." but with "I'm compiling a set of drawings for ... and need suitable information about ... " the result would be very different.
Best Regards Guenter

Hallo Guenter;
I agree with what you say about time in copying and add also the expense. There have been many occasions that I have sent data to others in the hope of seeing something in return and then been rudely disappointed. One (who will remain unnamed) may be using my material for his own gain. The drawings that have been done are copyrighted of course. I am not doing anything for commerial purposes whether it be manuals, photos or present and future scale drawings. I love motor transport and it is simply a hobby for me (though my wife says it is an expensive one).
Kind Regards, Robert
