In 2004 Norwegian Governement and the armed forces museum decided that these two PzKpfw III tanks was of no value, and sent them to the scrapyard. They had been on a shooting range for years, and had got some heavy hits. Still the two tanks could be turned into one.Even in Russia and former Warsaw-pact countries the relics are being saved. But unfortunately not in Norway. However, there are regulations that prevents vehicles older than 50 years to be exported from Norway, as they are regarded as valuable norwegian culture treasures. Unfortunately the norwegian government choose to destroy our heritage. My thoughts goes to Talibans destruction of ancient statues in Afganistan.
