 Zugkraftwagen P107/304(f)
« Thread Started on Dec 5, 2007, 3:33pm »

Hello list!

At Rogaland Krigshistoriske Museum (RKM - www.rkm.no.com ), we have a restoration project, starting maybe next year of a Unic P107.

Some information is already collected and "most" bits and pieces for the vehicle are there.

Have sent some inquires around to French museums - but all response we got was being redirected.
Any other restorers of French vehicles here that can give us any hints or guide us to resources of French ww2 equipment?

All help appreciated! :)

Regards
Sigve

Ps: Will have some pictures soon to give you an idea of what our object looks like!

Pictures of the recovery of one of our P107, can be found on this site:
http://photo.granhus.org/

This recovery operation was performed in northern Norway this year just before the snow covered the fields :)

Below is a picture of the other Unic in our museum

regards
Sigve

Rolf,

The most complete one is an artillery tractor. The other one is an pioneer version i am told, but this can be a German conversion or a conversion done by a Norwegian farmer?

Had a look at the tags today (frame and body). It says:
CV:13
No:110147
Type: P107
Serie: BU

Can anyone tell me what "serie BU" means?

Hi!

A little update on the project! :)

Here you can clearly See the foot well for the back seat. A good indication that this have been an artillery version.
Still missing good detail pictures to make a good repro of the ammo compartment

Husk sigve, hvis du skal kopiere noe på det bildet med artillery vogna at det er speilvendt.

Sigve,

Is this the type you are looking for?
Photo is from 2005, I hope it is still there.

Hello

To Kjettingmannen,

It seems like the ammo compartment is symmetric. So the mirror image doesn't make any confusion. However we do not have any good drawings of it - thankful for any help! :D

wille,

Yes, your picture shows a P107 - slightly modified. But it seems like missing the same parts that our one? Do you know if there are more parts than your picture shows?

Cees,

Your picture is of a Somua. This is a bigger vehicle than the p107, but wherry similar...

mvh

wille,

The parts we are looking for are:

fenders
extra front wheel
rear body parts or drawings/pictures
canvas top or parts of it
tips of surviving examples also welcome

Here you can clearly see where our body ends and what we have to reproduce
